The Yummiest Food

Wild Mushroom & Brie Cheeseburger @ my favorite restaurant in all of Williamson County, TN

Thank you Saffire, revised menu, and cute little chef that came to tell us why the burgers are so good.  Gotta love those local, lazy, stress free, grass fed, cows!

If you're in the Franklin TN area, I highly recommend this great place.  The atmosphere is laid back, cool, homey.  The decor is upscale casual.  Wooden art  hangs on the wall of Johnny Cash, Minnie Pearl. The walls are brick, the floor, stained concrete.  The smell is smokey and delicious and the food is just down right good.  It's a little pricey but balanced because of their hefty portion sizes.  The fried oyster with turnip mash appetizer will wake you up at night, thinking about it.   The quintessential southern Chicken Fried Chicken with Cheddar Mac & Cheese will make you wanna slap yo' mama.

It's been a year since I last visited Saffire and the menu has been revamped with many new choices.  They've added 4 burgers, one of which I had and it was absolutely mouthwatering.  The fresh cut onion rings were light and crispy and gone way too soon!  I've been eating at Saffire for more than 5 years.  It's one of my favorites in town and when I lived in TN, frequented there often.  The staff is welcoming, warm, and friendly...everything you would expect of a Southern  establishment.   The chef and bartender came to our table and told us about specialty drinks and the new menu.  Our waiter, Joe, was a hoot!  He was thorough, funny, veeeery interested in my dinner companion(they exchanged information!) and made sure we were well educated about our food and drink.

I just love this place and I think you should go.

(I, in no way, am getting any kind of kick back from Saffire for telling you all this...unfortunately!)
